If you have the pleasure of getting to know me in real life, you know that I don't have much of a filter, especially when it comes to my face. No poker for me folks!
I have been talking with a bunch of different people lately about healing feels a bit like an onion in that we have layers of healing and rewiring to do. (Sometimes crying too).
Healing from stress and rewiring our nervous systems, our hearts, brains and trauma responses is a HUGE part of it. So far the consensus of everyone I have spoken to in and out of sessions agrees.
The hard part is how to do this, but maybe the part that is most needed and missing is the why, so let's start there for today and then continue the discussion next week.

My personal reasons for managing my stress:
I sleep better
I feel more grounded
I do not snap at those I love
I feel in alignment with each thought and action I take
I have almost no pain in my body
I radiate peace to those seeking peace
I better serve others
My GI tract functions properly
I can better work on my wellness goals
I don't binge for my self care
I don't feel like I am running on empty
My businesses and my family thrive
I am curious if your list grew after seeing mine. Sometimes we need the reminder of why we want to do more than try to 'manage' our stress.
