Dearest Reader,
How's your day going today? How are you feeling in this moment? It's self check-in time! How are your body and mind feeling? Anything screaming for attention?
Every year, I choose a Word of the Year—a single word that serves as the keystone for everything I do. A keystone, in architecture, is the central stone at the top of an arch. It holds everything else together, distributing weight and ensuring stability. That’s how I think of my Word of the Year: as the foundation that gives structure and meaning to my goals, actions, and mindset.
This year, my word is abundance. It’s a reminder to focus on what I have rather than what I lack, to approach life with gratitude, and to create space for more love, joy, and opportunities. When life gets messy or overwhelming, this word pulls me back to center and helps me realign with what truly matters.
This practice has been part of my life for three years now, and it’s completely reshaped how I approach my goals. Choosing a Word of the Year gives me clarity, focus, and direction, even when the details of life don’t go as planned.
If you’re curious about starting this practice, I highly recommend Sage Grayson’s free program on choosing your Word of the Year: Check it out here. It’s an inspiring way to set your intentions and keep them top of mind throughout the year.
Now, I’d love to hear from you!
